--confignor OPENMW_CONFIG, vfstool reads the openmw.cfg in the folder OpenMW keeps its own in on this platform: Documents\My Games\OpenMW on Windows, wherever Documents was moved, Library/Preferences/openmw on macOS, and the XDG config folder elsewhere. Its?userconfig?and?userdata?are OpenMW's own folders. Needs jess 0.2.1 or later; the standalone downloads carry it.

collapseinto one of the cfg's own data directories leaves that directory's loose files where they are. It deleted each one before linking it, then failed.extractinto the folder a loose file already lives in leaves the file there. It deleted the file, then failed to copy it.runwithout--copyno longer empties a file indata-localthat the tool rewrote in place: capturing copied the file onto itself, which truncated it to nothing.- Ctrl+C during
